Hello all, I'm new here, so please forgive me if there is some protocol I've not followed.

Shortcircuit is amazing, and I'm so happy I found it.  I use my laptop and midi controller for live performances with a couple industrial bands and I'd like to stop using multiple vsts and projects and just use one instance of shortcircuit (after I've sampled and loaded the appropriate sounds of course).

But to do that, I'd need access to multiple programs/patches in the form of a fxb file.  Unfortuneately, it looks like there is only one patch that can be modified/overwritten/loaded.  I've tried creating an 'empty' fxb with vst preset generator but when I load that into SC, it still only shows one preset named 'default'.

Is there any way around this?  Does SC 2 behave the same way?

Hmmmm . . . I have an addendum:

The midi channels on my SC are not responding properly.  I've made a group on channel 1, and it's working fine.  But when I make a group on channel 2 - 16, I can't get them to play at all.  I know my midi controller is transmitting on channel 2 because ableton's indicator light for that channel is lighting up.  But no matter what channel I set my controller to, it will trigger the samples I've loaded on channel 1 (and yes, I've deselected Omni).  So what gives?  If there's no way to trigger a group on any other channel but channel 1, what's the point of the other channels.  I've got to be missing something.
